The question is whether or not to spend that amount on Switch when last year's PS Vita / PlayStation 4 edition is £7.99, it retails currently for £7.19 on Steam and is…get this…a much more palatable £4.99 on the App Store and Google Play!Īnyway, time to back up a bit before getting into why this most expensive version might be worth considering over the other iterations… This is all about three bearded fishermen venturing out of their comfort zone for the sake of new exploits in what is somewhat akin to a mix of visual novel and a traditional point-and-click adventure. Wait, though - not so fast, folks! The end is not quite what it seems, and those looking closer will soon find that Burly Men at Sea has hidden depths that really should be explored. Well, it is £8.99 on Nintendo Switch, which will cause great pain and massive disappointment when it all comes to a swift conclusion. ![]() After all, it does indeed end after about just about 20 minutes and all seems to be done and dusted without much in the way of satisfaction. Burly Men at Sea could easily be mistaken as the sort of throwaway mobile title that a quick quid or so is spent on and then gets pretty much forgotten about after a very short while. ![]()

![]() One of these 4.3″ clay flower pots will hold about 1½ cups of birdseed. Now things are ready to add the birdseed mixture! This will end up being the hanger for your bird bell. Next, I cut a piece of yarn to about 24″ long, folded it in half, and then pushed the folded end through the hole in the bottom so that about a 4″ loop of the yarn was now sticking out. I then took a pencil and poked through the wax paper and out the hole in the bottom of the pot. Some folds in the paper are perfectly OK and won’t show up on your finished bird bell. To get everything ready for the birdseed mixture, I first lined my pot with some wax paper. One handy thing about using a flower pot as your mold is the hole that’s already in the bottom, which will come in handy later in the process when you are inserting your string for hanging your bird bell. Some quick measuring on my part showed my pot to be 4″ high and 4½” across the top. ![]() To make a homemade birdseed bell I used a clay flower pot that was labeled as a 4.3″ size. And although I used a clay flowerpot, you could probably use some other type of disposable container for this method too, such as a plastic yogurt container, or maybe one of those red Solo cups. Of course the first challenge when you want to make a homemade birdseed bell is how can you get that shape? I decided I could put my recipe mixture into a small flowerpot to get something of the same sort of shape and was pretty satisfied with my final result, although I wish the bottom was just a bit wider like the store-bought type. This year I got out my recipe for homemade birdseed ornaments again too but then decided to do something a little different with that recipe – – I decided I could turn this mixture into homemade birdseed bells! Most of the time I make my DIY suet cakes which are fun to make in different flavors and that I put in my little suet cake cage out on the tree. return postage is the buyers responsibility. This is the time of year when I love to make some homemade creations for the birds to enjoy. These eastern grey squirrels are considered an invasive species in Europe because of their presence contributing to the displacement of the red squirrels. Both species have similar diets, use similar locations of the environment and have similar activity patterns however, there is no evidence of noticeable aggression between the two species. The native squirrel in Europe is the red squirrel ( Sciurus vulgaris). Genetic studies have shown that human intervention- released pets and intentional dispersal-may play a much larger role in the spread of grey squirrels than previously believed. The eastern grey squirrel was introduced to Continental Europe in 1948 and has quickly taken advantage of Europe's food sources, habitats and lack of predators for grey squirrels. They were first introduced into England, in a concerted way, in 1876, and through rapidly growing population and further introductions they spread to the rest of Great Britain by the early to mid-20th century. It also has thousands of colour-changing cells, called chromatophores, beneath its skin, meaning that it can generate any colour in these super quick, incredibly realistic camouflages. TVB: The octopus has some very interesting characteristics and properties, for example self-cannibalism, or the fact of having nine brains-it has a very particular form of intelligence. RC: It brings up so many questions and some really quite wild propositions, such as – what does it mean if we compare a squid and an octopus? Can we say all the things the octopus does (which the squid does not do) are extraterrestrial urges or behaviours? The octopus is one of the most interesting animals in existence, and of course, it’s also used as a metaphor for a million other things throughout history and in various cultures. The paper argues that the Cambrian explosion was partially caused by extra-terrestrial DNA. The scientific paper in question, Cause of Cambrian Explosion – Terrestrial or Cosmic? talks mostly about the cause of the Cambrian explosion – a sudden, massive increase in biodiversity 541 million years ago, in which almost all major animal groups started appearing in the fossil record. We’re really interested in this particular origin myth concerning outer space and ecology, for various reasons, but particularly because it features the octopus. Various panspermia theories have been around for decades now in the scientific community, but have largely been disproven. TVB: These theories are collectively referred to as ‘panspermia’, which is the idea that life on Earth originated from outer space. RC: Yes, Heavens is inspired by a sort of origin myth, a scientific hypothesis claiming the octopus was originally in fact a squid that was infected by a virus from outer space. LP: Heavens has an origin myth coded into it, right? Which is to say that it’s never about reporting as such, it’s about trying to capture something of the very particular moments or experiences of feeling ‘alive’ that we have either witnessed or staged, and where these moments come from. Revital Cohen: In terms of process, in many ways making the work is always a self-directed experience. What is ‘an experience’ for an animal? Can an octopus feel that it’s an octopus? Tuur Van Balen: With Heavens, which is currently in development, we have been thinking about the octopus as a radical other being – and about what constitutes animal consciousness. I wondered if you could speak a little about how these two works began to take shape for you? One research project can lead to various different kinds of outputs and objects. Part of the reason I wanted to speak about these two bodies of work, The Odds and Heavens, is because your work addresses economics, politics and so on in very complex ways. Not only does the headset look rather good with a black and white color scheme matching that of the PS5, but it also delivers some solid audio, You'll hear all the bangs, pop, creaks, screams, and more in all manner of games, with the 3D audio letting you pinpoint where enemies are by sound alone. Add in compatibility with Sony's Tempest 3D Audio engine and you've got a rather impressive gaming headset for under $100. However, it not only works with the PS5 but also with PCs as well, adding a degree of versatility into the headset.
